De-Clutter Day 8: I'm Back!!

I actually have been home for three days.  Had a wonderful vacation...thank you.  I must get back to de-cluttering and doing the items on my to do list.  I will update this posting later on this evening with some new items.  Check back!

De-Clutter Day 7: Reminder

Happy Independence Day (to those in the USA)...

This post is mostly a reminder to me as when I return from vacation, I usually have to sit for a moment to recall where I left off.  When I return from vacation, I will need to update:

• the "tally" and the money ticker
• add several items to the "blog"
• go through second bin...whoo hoo, one bin down. (and ah, several more to go)
• check on Ebay auctions (two should end by the time I return...crossing fingers items sale)
• purchase another paper shredder (the one I have goes out on me; possibly over-heating...dunno)
• offer old paper shredder to Freecyle once I purchase new one.

I think that's enough to get me started back in the swing of things when I return.

De-Clutter Day 6: Preparing for Vacation

I am so excited to be leaving for a much needed vacation.  While packaging for my son and I, I came across some more items to add to this "treasure" box.  I will be posting items a few days after returning.  So, please bookmark and or subscribe to this site so you won't miss out on some great deals.  Vacation Bound!!!

De-Clutter Day 5: Everything Has It's Place

I remember when everything had its place in my home.  It was great.  I rarely losted misplaced items in my home back then.  When you have a child that seems to always change things.  One day everything will have it's place again.

I've shredded some old documents and I've placed a few magazines(some read, some not) in the recycle bin.  So, today was "trash" day so to speak.  Like the shoes, I've gathered paper magazines around the house and placed in a box.  My plan is to go through some of the items each day...eventually, that box will be empty.

I feel good about my accomplishment today.  Oh, I can't wait, until everything is in "it's" place.

De-Clutter Day 4- Back to Business

As, I stated I will be posting shoes that we no longer can wear or choose to wear.  These were in the bin, I pulled out of the garage.

I went through some papers I had in a pile.  I shredded those papers, that had personal info. and recycled others(got a little trash out this go round).  I plan to go through my magazines and recycle those as well.  I also, plan to go through some items and place on Ebay.  I'm getting this stuff outta here!
